The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda popularly called in short as MSU Baroda is a Public university in the city of Vadodara in Gujarat, India. Established in 1881 as Baroda College this institution become an University in 1949. Its named after benefactor Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III of erstwhile Baroda State. At present the University has 89 departments spread over 6 campuses i.e. 2 rural campuses and 4 urban campuses.
