TeamLease Skills University (TLSU) is a private university established under Gujarat Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2013 vide Gujarat Act. No. 18 of 2013. TeamLease Skills University (TLSU) is located within the ITI Tarsali campus at Vadodara aad is clearly focused on putting India to work by offering employment oriented programs and developing a career path for non-graduate employees.

The University offers custom made programs catering to the needs of 18-23 year olds drawn from the academic streams of secondary education system. Efforts are also under process for opening higher education/training avenues for the pass-outs/teachers of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), Vocational Higher Secondary Schools (VHSSs) and Polytechnics.

The formal and informal sectors of the employed category will be provided skill upgrade options through credential based educational programs and non-credit oriented training programs. Non-formal pedagogy will be deployed for community enrichment programs.
