Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara
Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIIT-V) was set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government Of India under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model in 2013. The partners in this project are Government Of India, Government of Gujarat, Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute, Gujarat State Fertilizers and Chemicals and Tata Consultancy Services. DA-IICT Gandhinagar has been entrusted the responsibility of mentoring IIIT Vadodara. Currently, IIIT-V is operating from its temporary premises at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) till the time its new campus is made operational at Vadodara, Gujarat.
Academic Programs in IIIT Vadodara
Bachelor of Technology - Computer Science and Engineering
The programme is designed to make a strong foundation in CSE which includes electronics and hardware. Computer science courses are introduced in the early semesters while non-IT courses in the later stages.
Bachelor of Technology - Information Technology
Software engineering is a form of engineering that applies principles of computer science and mathematics to achieve cost-effective solutions to software problems.
Master of Technology - Computer Science and Engineering
M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering program is designed such that the students can complete it based on advanced coursework along with minor and a major project. The students interested to pursue a research oriented career are provided with an option to take up thesis work for a year in place of projects.
Doctor of Philosophy
Doctoral Program is intended for students who wish to conduct, manage or interpret research in academic, industry or government settings. This degree certifies credible completion of an approved program of advanced study in addition to a research thesis of high quality based on original research.
