Ahmedabad University Admission

Ahmedabad University offers various diverse courses like Undergraduate (UG) courses in Management, Commerce and engineering department. Apart from regular courses University also offers 5 years integrated courses in Management (iMBA) and Science (iMSc).

Admissions to Ahmedabad University’s Engineering programme is undertaken in the following manner:
  • 50% of seats are allocated through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), a committee set up by the Government of Gujarat.
  • The remaining 50% of seats are filled through Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains result submitted through the application on our Admissions portal
  • The last date for submitting JEE (Main) Attempt Scores April through June.
Students of Class XII, who are yet to appear for the final examinations or are awaiting results, may apply to Undergraduate Programmes of Ahmedabad University under Early Admissions.

Under Early Admissions, a student may obtain provisional admission before the Class XII results are declared. Final admission is contingent upon satisfying the conditions stated in the Provisional Admission Offer.

Eligibility Criteria

Master of Business Administration
Graduates or those in the final year of their graduation may apply to the MBA programme by taking one of the competitive aptitude tests from amongst CAT / XAT/ CMAT / NMAT / MAT. Those candidates who have not appeared / registered for any competitive tests yet, may also apply. 

Master of Management Studies in Heritage Management
The admission is based on holistic evaluation comprising of a Statement of Purpose (SoP), a portfolio of relevant works OR a standard admissions test score, and a personal interview of short-listed candidates.

Master of Arts in Economics
The applicant should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field including Engineering and Management; trained in quantitative subjects in Class 12 or at Bachelor’s level; a valid GRE/CAT or graduate level aptitude test or entrance test of Indian Central Universities, IGIDR or others. Foreign students with a valid IELTS score can also apply.

Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering
The admission is based on holistic evaluation comprising of a Statement of Purpose (SoP), a portfolio of relevant works OR a standard admissions test score, and a personal interview of short-listed candidates.
